Another amazing program that needs mentioning again is 1000 Books Before Kindergarten. This is free to children from birth to preschool. Sign your child(ren) up at the library and they will receive a bag with a folder which includes information, instructions, and a log sheet for the books read. There are incentives for every 100 books read when the log sheets are brought back to the library. Once they reach 1000, they are rewarded with big prizes, a picture on the 1000 BBK wall, in the newspaper, and on Facebook. Sign your kids up today!
