THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 1 PM CDT SATURDAY.
* WHAT…Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 2 and 4 inches and ice accumulations around
a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
* WHERE…Portions of west central Minnesota and northeast South Dakota.
* WHEN…From 4 AM to 1 PM Saturday.
* IMPACTS…Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
